The RIAI is hosting an exhibition of the 2019 RIAI award winners as well as entries selected for Exhibition in the RIAI Architecture Centre, 8 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. The exhibition will remain open until Friday 20 September, which is also Culture Night Dublin. Opening times are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Following its run at the RIAI, the Awards exhibition will travel to Tralee for the Kerry Festival of Architecture. Wexford County Council are also showing the RIAI Awards this autumn. The RIAI Awards celebrate the work of RIAI members and highlight the contribution that architects make to society and the built environment for everyone’s benefit. Marking 30 years of the awards programme, the RIAI announced 23 award winners across 14 categories – Adaptation and Reuse; Buildings for All; Cultural/Public Buildings; Future Award; Innovation; International; Learning Environments; Living; Public Choice Award; Public Space; Research; Sustainability; Wellbeing; Workplace and Fit-out.

The Jury for the RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2019 were Carole Pollard, FRIAI, Chair; Eamonn O’Reilly, CEO Dublin Port, distinguished guest juror; and architects Alice Casey, MRIAI; Peter Carroll, MRIAI; Aishling Joyce, MRIAI; Dermot McCabe, MRIAI; Peter McGovern, MRIAI; John O’Mahony, FRIAI; and Lenzie O’Sullivan, MRIAI.
